Re: Buying a new bike soon.

... dull after the Z900 and MT-09. Either the 675 or the 765 street triples need to be taken for a test ride. Both have more than enough punch for road and track, they handle really well and they're very well priced. Last year I was looking at the MV Brutale 800. So that's another option.

Re: MotoGP road race

yeah, safety would be the thing. They may ride at over 200mph but that's only because they know they won't hit anything too hard, An airbag box is a lot softer that a bale of hay or a garden fence. Saying that, mid Devon would be a great venue and they have my vote if they wan't to go past my front ...

Re: MotoGP road race

As a spectacle it would be a good idea, but would they be able to find enough run off? I couldn't see Rossi or Marquez racing Macau for instance..

Don't ride into a dust storm on the Kathmandu ring road, your front teeth will never forgive you. Also open face helmets suck!

Honorable memtion to "learning to walk again is not all it's cracked up to be" etc.

Re: Just one bike

Tough decision, Kwacky :?

I'm finding it hard enough choosing a road bike and I don't have the problem of wanting a bike to commute on.

While ever I'm green laning it will always be 2 bikes though.

Re: Panigale V4 race exhaust sound

Holy shit! Look how fast that goes up the box. A dyno is supposed to mimic the resistance of the road isnt it? If so look how fast it gets to 150!!

The dash is like the starship enterprise too.

I do want a go on one of these, just to say i have done so i reckon. (muscle) (raaar)

Re: Just one bike

I had a test ride on the Tracer - I wasn't impressed. The Tigers are on the radar, as is the 1090 Adventure (not the R, the road version). I'll have a word with KTM Brum to see what they've got for me to try. Some of the guys from Triumph Birmingham have moved to BMW so sorting out a ...

Re: Just one bike

The 'go-to' would surely be the BMW GS...?

Personally I'd go for a supernaked with a bit more wind protection but I'm hardly practiced at road riding (nor commuting) in the last couple of years

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Ride into work this morning. There was a very light dusting of snow on the road and some patches of ice but the bike didn't seem to mind. I need to start thinking about a new rear tyre for the Versys as the Z8 is starting to square off. I'm a bit surprised it's ...
