Re: Helmets and Track Days
On the subject of new helmets i popped into a shop earlier to have a look at leathers but they had next to no stock. So i tried a few helmets on and the AGV Corsa is very nice indeed. Proper race helmet and fitted nicely. Not what i am looking for at the moment though. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/shopping?q=tbn:ANd9GcSvUlzBXLByWaq-_5BW1vxCohG59PvAtgy2-Ja9Obb4mcFmrWUac4IIYGx8FBBxd6oPCGsvwCDZ&usqp=CAY

Thankyou just ordered the part from this company. £45 plus postage if any one else needs/wants one. However there is a 4-5 week wait in the UK at the moment!

Plus I've got the MOT and tax on the bike with the insurance next month ;( Cost wise I'm going to have to go part worns and get a new set later in the year. I've found some good sets of Michelin Power One Cup's ...

Found the instructions for the exhaust so I'll be needing my mate to help out for that. Also the quickshifter looks simple enough too. Next Sunday will be a busy day.

... a cracking write up Godzilla, I was as surprised as you appeared to be about the Mutley, that bike being lined up in my sights as possibly my next bike purchase, I've tried the Tiger 800, Explorer 1200 and the KTM SM990 and tbh I couldn't live with any of them for differing reasons, so I've ...

Sound for the pound!
Easy does it. I'm on a reasonably tight budget and know next to nothing about keeping my wheels secure.
Can y'all help me out with some suggestions of which security systems work best and don't cost a bomb?

... of rides there mate... I missed the Ducati open day today as going to donny tomorrow, but going to try and get a multi test ride on Saturday next weekend. One thing I'm curious about.. You mention that the GS had a lack of front end dive under breaking, are you relating that to experience ...

Nandos is vastly overrated and overpriced chicken in a basket. You would be much better off getting some decent piri piri sauce and coating it on a chicken. Leave it overnight then roast it the next day.

They've been great on the track, but I'm looking forward to getting rid of them on the road. I'm going with blade's recommendation next time.duke63 wrote:Personally i would avoid EBC's.
