Re: Oulton Park Review
... with duke[emoji108] +1 Sadly I've met and had days messed up by people like Mr Dick, they're usually the guys that have spent big money on quick bikes and have no idea on fixing small problems or riding them properly, they're also a pig to get past if they're in your group fast as f**k down the ...

Re: Oulton Park Review
If you crash in pitlane I think really you should not be riding a bike.
And to have two bikes at a trackday and neither of which works properly but one of which should have been checked and corrected the night before with just a spanner, should also say the same.

Re: Classic GP Bikes
I know what your saying abd Im sure its true. But look at the classic TT and Goodwood Revival both never seem short of millionaires willing to race their priceless classics and good on them that they do I say. Hopefully the event will gather momentum and become a reality. I know I would very much li...

Possibly. It's still ongoing which is rare.
He's a Dutch guy from the z1000sx.co.uk site. Looks like he's had a nice mix of bikes over the years.

Re: Classic GP Bikes
Duke - that's the one.
Blade - I'll need to find the report I read yesterday but I think there's nothing concrete as yet but they did a recent legends event and there was a problem finding owners prepared to hand over their bikes to be raced, which is understandable.

Did I see that they're doing 500cc moto GP style bikes for a racing legends event next year?

Look forward to hearing your review.
Bikes like your ZX10 are made for the track first and then tuned down a little for the road.
I do miss the occasional trackday.

Re: Watchout, there's a horsebox about
Cos bikes cost a lot more than Tractors, said nobody ever!Previously the scheme involved the use of marked motorcycles at the roadside but rather than continuing to invest in these the force deemed it cheaper to purchase a tractor and horsebox.

Re: Quad Bikes on the road
Sad event all round.
I don't see the need for them on the road at all, but regardless of the laws it doesn't seem they were following them anyway. No MOT, 4 on it at one time...

Quad bikes full stop, you can't change the laws of physics. Shouldn't be allowed just ask Rick. Very sad for them though RIP.

The 899 replacement will be a 959cc bike. Sounds promising.

Re: Quad Bikes on the road
I think they're used under old laws which were to do more with agricultural machines, to allow farmers to drive a tractor on a public road without having to get a motorbike licence or wear a crash helmet.
