apparently the HM is easier to fit/set-up (Plug and Play) than the Techtronic which needs splicing into the loom , never used/fitted either so couldn't advise further .

I'll exclude myself from this as Im exposed to quite a few biking disasters in my line of work , but there's one to get the ball rolling
