Not quite sure what i have here. The hubs are different to all the other 5 spoke Marchesinis i have seen.

I know there are not Magnesium.

Some of the later bikes 998R and S4R Monsters had lighter wheels/hubs still so i am hoping that is what these might be. Time to ask a few questions.

New wheels turned up today. Much lighter than the original wheels. A very unscientific calculation involving weighing myself and then myself holding the wheel tells me the new rear wheel is approx 2.5kg lighter than the original and that's with a 190 tyre fitted. The tyres are not Supercorsas though...
