Re: Danny Ket

Risky but i suppose his reputation and employability was suffering. The changes between moto3, moto2 and gp are all large ones, so if he does get picked up by another team he'll have to perform quickly.

Re: Nutz's 990 Superduke

@cookiemonster cheers mate loads of useful info there. I had no idea you could get a slow action throttle, I'll look into it. Clutch master added to the list. I'll bite your hand off for the tuneecu cable, not sure it's been remapped after the akra's where fitted. Tuneecu website has tunes for the ...

Re: Nutz's 990 Superduke

Great write up Jon. If you have any issues etc - drop me a line as there is not much i haven't sorted on my RC8 and the engines are very closely related. In terms of shopping list - an oberon MC for the clutch will help you as the plastic one that comes on the bike can overheat - especially in town ...

Re: Austin Motogp

Lorenzo looked so pleased - 1.4 secs behind, but Vinales and Marquez are the run away winners this years imo.

I'll be giving that a bash tonight

Re: What you watching?

Rogue One.

Brilliant. How it leads up to the first film is brilliant.

Full blast on the sound effects - freaked the dog out, but awesome (clap)

Re: Cars in the future

Cookie totally agree on every point except the last (y) If a persons disposable income is credit based then they don't actually have disposable income. Your exactly right, but i don't believe thats how the people with too much credit see it that way. Those who are careful in what they spend (i.e. y...

Re: Mr Postman

A new pair of wellies and a french tax return. Living the dream (facepalm) :D Is French Tax worse than English tax ???? It's in French as Kwacky says and also way different in terms of how its calculated. The french make assumptions on some incomes and tax you on those (giggle). It depends how you ...

Re: Cars in the future

Much depends on the type of vehicle i suspect. Any sporty diesel should not see its value fall to much but i suspect your average diesel saloon car will. My cars have been purchased on PCP for some years now. This is the first time that the residual value of the car doesn't come close to the value ...

Re: Cars in the future

Is it a blanket on all diesel cars? I thought it was on the older diesels? (I'm assuming cars with no DPF?) A lot of diesels with DPF's are affected. Its only Euro6 compliant diesels that are ok. Thats only the last couple(ish) of years. Mine has a DPF and is now 9 years old - DPF has been around f...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Not so much vent as crawl under a rock and die. Was sat in John Lewis yesterday looking at curtains with a very helpful lady. I was looking at something for my lads room but noticed they had a 20% sale on over easter. I commented we had had a quote for some made to measure curtains previously and c...
