Re: World's longest sea crossing

Just like a rollercoaster i'd imagine - could be fun.

Re: Jaguar Land Rover

I see Dyson are going to make electric cars, which i would suggest they will be good at. They have chosen Singapore to build the factory mind - the UK is too expensive to make things sadly. https://www.bbc.com/news/business-45950377 I'm considering a new car at the moment - could be a cheap Land Rov...

Re: Brexit Round 2

Malta is one of the biggest and worst tax havens in Europe. As a result it attracts the very worst of people. Was watching a programme a few weeks back where journalists who are uncovering the worst aspects of it are under threat and one was blown up and killed by a car bomb last year. Money launde...

Re: World's longest sea crossing

Whatever the wheres or whys of its issues, its a fantastic piece of engineering. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-45937924 Now all we need is a bridge from the UK to France......funded by a pensions tax on wealthier OAPs. :D I'd vote for that :D They are very good at infrastructure, but ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Belt change every two years isn't that attractive to me. 848 is a much better ownership prospect imo.
Besides it's not how much power you have but how you use it :)

Re: Weekend Plans

I'm starting Project Workshop this weekend. Knocking down the 40+ year old garden wall, digging an area for the pad of the 4x3m workshop, rebuilding the wall and wall tying the 2 remaining workshop walls to it. I'll be taking plenty of photos and will probably put them all up in one hit once it's d...

Re: More anarchy on the streets

I was watching the BBC News this morning (too lazy to change channel) and they were talking about crime statistics. Something like violent crime up 20% and murder etc up 14% - all in one year? WTF!

It's like no-one in government cares.... oh hang on, they dont :(
