Went to the cinema. The girls went to watch Beauty & the Beast, me and the boy went to watch the new Power Rangers movie. I don't think it's going to win any Oscars, it was basically a feature-length episode of the what the TV series used to be like, but with an origin story and modern day CGI....

I did pork fillet in the slow cooker and it was falling apart and very tender. The gravy it cooked in was onion soup powder, red wine, soy sauce, garlic and pepper. It tasted very umami and rich.

Quiet day today. Mrs and boy have been out since 9:30 at a child relatives birthday bash. I'm a grumpy sod and don't go to those family things if there are kids involved, especially in confined spaces. I've done all the laundry, changed all bedding, 5 mile walk with the dog and done the housework.
