Don't think so it worked ok but was only a quick run , I checked the terminals on the battery and had a quick look round for loose connections and saw nothing.

Next step is to drain the tank and have a look at the fuel pump / filter

picked these up tonight

Went to see my mate who has and engineering shop. Used his workshop to shorten my throttle cables for my quick action throttle. Fitted it to the bike a quick 5 min blast and its all good :-) a little bit of tidying up tomorrow so the bar end fits.

It's not about being fast or slow its about enjoying your self if you can take your lid off and have a smile on your face and some stories to tell its what biking for me is all about. I think with the traffic yesterday and the fact its rained for a few days giving that bit of extra room on over take...
