Twitter

As a certain Mr Kwacky might have mentioned, I am a tweeter. I tweet. A lot.

I met my last girlfriend via twitter, ffs.

It's down today.

I am struggling. How will I cope? The world deserves snippets of my life in 140 character bursts.

#Stress

Sympathies, fella. Hope you're ok...

Wishing that my customer in Turkey was less of a ****. Sigh. It's gone ballistic now. Director level shit. Gulp.

Good job I am in the right...

Re: Gaming thread

After promising myself I wouldn't buy one of Ubisoft's godawful, bug ridden, untested Assassin's Creed games again, I picked up a copy of the latest one, Syndicate for cheap a couple of weeks ago. And it's really, surprisingly good. I'm really enjoying just wandering the streets of London, checking ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Yeah, this morning was horrible. Genuinely freezing. Didn't help that a couple of my radiators in the house seemed to fail last night, so I was cold all night, cold getting up and then cold on the bike this morning. Just warming up a tiny bit now.

Fancy having to come to work to get warm!

Re: Introductions - Say "Hello" Here

Hello dogbot! Seeing as you're local-ish to myself, where abouts do you ride? Wondering if I may have seen you out and about near Usk, Abergavenney Sort of, yeah. Mostly my trips into Wales are the standard Chepstow - Tintern - Monmouth run then out towards the Forest of Dean, but I've looped round...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Banana pre workout. Protein/BCAA shake post. Not really feeling the shakes, tbh, but I don't eat enough as it is and if I don't do something post workout, I'll end up looking like a string bean.

Two days ago I wrote that, and in the intervening time, said car has had a rear brake caliper fail. Obviously, water damaged...

Grrr. I should learn to keep my mouth shut...

I've ridden a 1050 Speed Triple. It was ok, but I own a crossplane R1.

I know it's sacrilegious, but I have never, ever liked the front end of those bikes.

In fact, don't get the Triumph love at all. Meh.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Oh, the number of girls I've met in the last ten years who, since "pole dancing lessons" became popular, referred to themselves as "a bit of a pole dancer". Yeah, two lessons falling off a pole doesn't make you a pole dancer, love. Any more than singing Karaoke once a week makes ...

Partly, sure. But the Beeb shows were surely never dependent on record sales? They were artist showcases.

Some of us still buy music.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I only go to a public gym once a week (I have my own gym at home), but the last few weeks, it has been packed to the rafters with hotties in yoga pants, there to be seen at the gym, not wearing very much. I'm not really complaining, but it's a little irritating if you're actually there to work out. ...

Yeah, I was only a kid/teen in the 80s, but I loved Whistle Test and all those shows.

Whatever happened, eh? Now it's all Strictly and cooking shows. Sigh.

Commuted. Which was it's usual, zipping past queued traffic-y, 125 fun-y goodness.

Slightly chilly, but that's all.

Re: Cat-D right offs

My car is a Cat D write off. It says so on the V5 and I bought it knowing so. It was cheap because of it, too. It was written off by Norwich Union because it was parked and a nearby river flooded. There was no damage, but the wheels were in a foot of water. That was at 12k miles. I bought it at 70k ...

Nice.

I miss my VTEC.

(appreciate that that's a hydraulic system and not allowed in GP, and this isn't, but still)
