Re: The War on Terror

Countries like Afghanistan can never be fixed. It would be easier to build a wall around them and forget they exist.

Yeah that's the feeling I got with my Granddad. He ended the war driving a Bulldozer at Belson, can't imagine how that would have effected me.

We have had this chat before........ So did my grandad....

Industrial hearing loss

I have just had a long chat with a cold caller ringing me saying he was from some no win no fee solicitor telling me that I had hearing loss. He wouldn't take no for an answer really and said I did. Anyway the upshot is that some fella is coming round to do a hearing test. Apparently my number got p...

I always get jealous if your fantastic trips. It pisses me off that I'll never get around to it and all my mates are shit. Great pics.

I'll have a look at one of them when I go to pc world. By the looks of it that won't do what my lass needs it to do for work, but maybe she should buy her own anyway :(

Geek advice on a laptop

Well tomorrow I'm getting my fibre broadband connected. I won't bore you with the details , but it's through a company called B4RN. Broadband for the rural north. Basically a kind of cooperative that sprung up when BT refused to connect rural areas due to a lack of profitability. It's an amazing und...

Re: Is biking in the blood?

Apparently he used to be a mechanic for the British speedway champion , bob someone. Kitchen maybe. I forget now , though I do keep meaning to look it up and see if there are pics of ...

Re: Caught Speeding.... bugger.

If you get banned and have to get to work , just keep riding anyway. The fine will be less than having your house repossessed. Insure the bike under your lasses name and never take your helmet off outside the house
