As the title suggests we're off to the Peak District for a play about.

Yes, I know there are speed cameras about but we don't have to spend all day on the main road.

I suggest we meet in Matlock Bath for 11 and take it from there.

Bank Holidays mean an extra day to play out though and still have two days to fit in all the jobs and family demands It wasn't me

Seeing as there are loads of old bill, cameras, planes and unmarked bikes about in that area we wont be tanking it. But I'll have a chat with Blade to see what he proposes.

Not 100% sure I will be there unfortunately as my wifes mum has just died but if things are bit more relaxed by Sunday I might get out for a good blast.

Regards the route I would suggest something similar to what we did a year ago with Jimmy but it would be better to meet in Buxton as the Matlock area is heavily policed and the roads leading out of Matlock are either dead straight or 30 - 40 limits Doh!

The route I would take people on will include all the famous roads like Cat + Fiddle, Longhill (loads of magazines use this road for tests and photo shoots) the snake pass plus a few secret roads of mine own that are not well know and help link up all the well know stuff.

I m hoping to be there but if for any reason I can t go I will suggest a route and tell you where to be careful Angel

I know a nice road to get there (from Uttoxeter) - cant remember road numbers I'll look it up, as not sure I can make it yet.

Yeah it was no good for me either as my wifes mums funeral was yesterday so doing family things and supporting my wife hopefully get together another time.

If anybody does get a ride out this weekend enjoy it the forecast is great. Should be good at Oulton BSS on Monday I m taking the nephew Rolling on the floor laughing
