Whilst we're talking heroics, fair play to devils advocate for agreeing to take Zidanes bike in his van and to the No Limits guys for "lending me" two straps to tie it down

Just back after some fish and chips, a sit down and a big mug of tea. Great day, bar the offs.

I do wish i could get up to speed quicker though. It seems to take me three sessions before i'm happy with my speed and riding again, i guess i just don't do enough days to get any better. I did go quicker than my last visit to Mallory though.

Good to meet up with everyone and it does make it a more enjoyable day having mates to chat with.

Lots of nice Ducatis there today. The guys on those old Supersport Ducatis were both riding 583cc bikes with engines from 20 years ago but they still didn't hang about and were quicker than many in the fast group. Just goes to show it's not what you ride but how you ride it. I'd be surprised if either of those make 80bhp.

One stunning 996 Ducati as well. I'd love to try my 748 on track, it's made for it but i don't think i could ever do it to it!

You mean once I've had my 3 sessions of the day and no longer on the track? Covered Laugh

Do you think switching between 3 bikes means you have to tune in? I was reasonably quick (for me) from the off but I know my bike inside out. I was getting my pegs down at Gerrards.

nice pics spudda, already sourced some track fairings, tracking down some forks now, quick question is the front subframe that the fairing mounts to the same thing as the clock bracket?

Oh no, sorry to hear about the crashes, I'll give Pete a call to see how he's doing but by the sounds everybody is okay.

Ta for the heads up Rich, sorry I couldn't make it today. Didn't feel like making the 60mile round trip cycle ride after waking up late. Did Perks turn up in his Porsche?

Kwacky won't mind ...... Jack, log on to www.daytona600.org and ask for parts on there - the website is my baby, a sort of sister site to Tankslap

Thats why I probably appeared over familiar when we first met, I thought you were a member on there already - that daytona exhaust hanger was once mine until I sold it to a guy on there

Theirs good advice and lots of spares available

Sorry to hear about the offs, but pleased the riders seem ok. A mate of mine from TRC was at Mallory today and said the bikes were in a bit of a state. I'll see if I can lure him over here...he's a good bloke (and only based in Alvechurch so a local!) Yes
