Realistically i think we need to aim to set off from Stafford services on the M6, say, at 9.30am at the latest. Be careful with the satnav routes as the quickest route is through the Mersey tunnel and that is a toll route for all other vehicles, bar bikes.

If you miss your ferry that's the end of the weekend.

Frankly or Stafford services would be a good place for me and Kwacky to meet D6 and Duke and maybe D6nutz if he,s up the night before, and then meet up with Blade around the M62 Thinking

may have to leave a little earlier than that ??it says check in 45 minutes before departure so that wopuld be 10.45 so if we left Stafford at 9.30 that only gives us 75 mins to travel over 80 miles and find the ferry ??

The ferry terminal is right underneath the Liver building which is about a quarter of a mile from the exit of the Mersey Tunnel.

Under the Mersey.

We'll worry about meeting places and times closer to the date.

do you need anything special to secure the bikes on deck? Or do they supply all the strapping?

Don't worry about a thing. It will all be taken care of. Steam Racket may be a bunch of thieving w4nkers, but their loaders certainly know how to safely and securely lash a bike Smile

They just tie the bike to a railing with a piece of rope.

If you're lucky, they tie it to the railing inside the cargo deck. Big Smile
