That's the one. Works out at £134.50 with a reserved seat and £104.50 without a seat!

I will. You will struggle to get a seat of any kind on the ferry otherwise and 2 hours or so is a long time to be stood up especially if the crossing is a bit choppy!

Plus you get free tea and coffee as well and that alone with cost you the best part of a fiver each way.

No point, it's low season and Steam Racket ferries will be less than half full. If you are sailing on the Ben My Cree, there is plenty of seating available.

Yeh there is an outside deck. Bloody cold and windy though.

I think the Ben My Cree is the slow ferry, which takes nearly twice as long IIRC.

I checked and the Liverpool one said 2hours 40mins I think4.

I'll have been sat on the bike for about that long travelling to Liverpool, so I'm happy to stretch my legs. There's still bound to be places you can sit anyway.

And it wont be windy, the weather WILL BE glorious. Tongue Out

The Liverpool ferry is the faster one, IIRC, the slow ferry takes about 3.5 to 3.45 hours!

Here is from the site ....................

Isle of Man to Heysham
Services will be operated by the Ben-my-Chree with a crossing time of between 3h 15m and 3h 45m. All journey times are approximate and subject to tidal and weather conditions.

Isle of Man to Liverpool
The Fastcraft service has a crossing time of between 2h 30m and 2h 40m. All journey times are approximate and subject to tidal and weather conditions.

I do however heed a warning - the Liverpool Ferry (if the weather is a bit iffy), will be the one that gets cancelled !!

You will then be moved to Heysham.

This is what happened on the RAT weekend, when I went a few years ago.

Also it will be sort notice - we knew mid afternoon, for sailing the morning of the next day.
