There's a trackday through no limits or hottrax (cant remember now) at Mallory on sat 2nd Jan. £35 and a free pie and mash lunch.

I am thinking about it. but I might do it as a late booking. Short on cash - and I dont want to waste it on a crappy day. Cold doesn't bother me, but wet/wind/snow does.

Thought I'd give a heads up. Beamo said he would (and wants to book it).

Don't worry about it being sold out. Not everyone will turn up and out of those who do 10 will bin it in the first session.

Think I'll wait until March/April. I did Silverstone in February last year and it was like riding on glass with two or three offs every session.

It was dry but bloody freezing and I couldn't ride hard enough to get any heat in the tyres. Ended up going straight on at Copse!

I did one on 28th december once (my first ever trackday) and it was actually a lovely day. Warmer than the May one I did last year.

But that was why I was going to leave it until the last moment and book if it was going to be a reasonable day.

However, if novice and inters are already full, that decides it for me. lol.

I,m deffo doing a track day next year as I,ve never done one ,but I think I,ll wait it's a bit warmer it'll probably be safer with my past record Blush

Too soon for me to commit at £109. The £35 for Mallory I could scrape together. I'll see if I get my wage reduction back in the new year first.

I popped along to this today. I wasn't planning to ride but wanted to catch up with a few people. It was cancelled around 9.30 which surprised me a bit. Whilst it was very white and cold early on, by 11 it was clear enough to ride in my opinion.

That was one reason why I went to Mallory - so I could give Trev some more bits to complete the fix. I'm just waiting for the end can I've ordered from MHP then that should be evrything. I won't be riding until Mid Feb and I'm sure Trev will be done by then.
