My post seems to have vanished.

I will require a parking spot, a breakfast,a ferry journey and am willing to share a room with the fit bird with low standards mentioned in my hidden post (ideally a double bed)

If no girl is willing to destroy what pride or self esteem she has, by bunking (bonking) with me, then I dont mind sharing a twin room with someone. If Beamo comes I'll ask if he wants to. Otherwise I dont mind.

I'm honestly not gonna know until about 3 months from the actual date, as I have a little bit longer drive than the rest of you - is that gonna be OK???

There is no way i can say for definite that i will be there either, it's just too far ahead.

It's certainly high on the agenda but i do think it's too early to be booking things, unless people are prepared to make some sort of financial commitment now.

I would think the best place to stay will be near to the centre of Douglas otherwise there will be a bit of a trek to food and drink hostelries unless they are attached!

Parts of the Isle on Man are quite remote.

Dizzy - where is the location of the hotel? I'll send an email telling everyone we need numbers. I'll let you know who is coming.

Parking shouldn't be too much of a problem as bikes take much less room. I dont think anyone is trailering their bikes.

The way I look at it is we've got a few months to plan around this trip. If you say you're going and commit to it, you go. If you say you want to go and you'll see closer to the time, something else will come up. I've told my wife I'm going, so now it's in her diary and she knows not to plan anything for us for that weekend.

I'm totally with you on that, Kwacky but from past experience of arranging things, not here particularly, but life in general, it's easy to say you want to do something when it's 10 months ahead and then find that as the date gets closer, most of the yes's become maybe's and then become no's!

I think it has to be the responsibilty of each and everyone of us to book and pay for our own hotel rooms when we know where they are.

This trip will take some commitment as the ferry alone will cost £90 return and you will need to book that around spring time and then two nights B&B is another £60/70.

I'm more than happy to prebook the hotel for myself as long as we can have some sort of cancellation cut off point next year. My only caveat is work, it's not something I can predict that far ahead. I've cleared the trip with the missus, though i think that maybe costing me in new shoes/handbag! Covered Laugh

Have we got a thread listing who is/wants to come?

From what Bratty's missus told me, it will be an extra small size, Monty, so no use to anyone.
