Just ordered my tickets for the NEC bike show.

£15 for my ticket, £5 for the old mans (senior citizen).

We'll do the usual stop over at the end and avoid the parking fee.

Probably go the first weekend 28/29th Nov as we are in Blackpool for the last weekend.

Edit - How do you add this to the calender?/?

when you start a thread in the events section it should bring up options to add the details in the calendar

click on "new topic" in Events section.

There should be a box underneath with "add event details"

It would be useful to have to make the calendar look busier and so we can all see if anybody is doing something special or different.

I suspect if may have more to do with the fact that Bratty comes home with a new bike everytime he goes near somewhere selling bikes and bike gear. Covered Laugh

we're just jealous.

I won't be spending much on bikes any time soon. Both my home computer and my laptop are currently on their way out. Looks like I need to replace both at the same time. Then there's the joy of Christmas to deal with. Cash TMI

Nope. I'll take a look at what 09 bikes they're trying to get rid of but with Honda and Kawa only doing minor changes I dont think the 09 bikes will drop much in price.

I dont know if i'll bother this year. I've been every year for the last 6 or 7 years and the last couple of years it's got smaller and the manufacturer's stands have dwindled. I wanted to see the RSV4 last year and Aprilia were not there and i think there are quite a few manufacturers not going.

It's not worth the ££ anymore - it used to be, but thats just my opinion..

I've not bothered for a couple of years. As Daytona650 says, the stands and number of marques have decreased. It's rare to get a decent bargain. It's not worth the cash.

If you wait at the end (I go into the weatherspoons and have a pint) the gate staff leave at 7pm, and have to leave the gates open. So you can drive straight out without paying. Show ends at 6 i think, but you can hang around a bit and then go to the pub for the last few moments until the staff are gone.
