Ferry is from Liverpool so we can either meet on the M6 for those coming from the south or at the M56 junction for those from the Manchester area or further north.

Right. I've created an event on facebook and invited D600.org as well.

D63, do you want to invite your mates with the funny handshakes?

Ah I see, forgot you got married abroad. Thought you meant you got married, divorced and then married again.

Maybe an option for me when we go to the IOM on my anniversary. Maybe the only option!

LOL!!!

Why not take the wife?? - Make it your 'anniversary trip' or couch it in another blatantly see-through term!

If the wife's not into bikes then just throw (or gently roll) the bike on a trailer & you can both go in the car (once you take that big green thing off the roof!).

I'll ask about to see if anyone is interested.

We stayed here..

It's on the street parking but that's not an issue as theft is very low and the house is in a square anyway. Walking distance to Douglas promenade.

Hmmm....How does one go about renting a bike in England? Is it possible to rent a bike on the IOM itself?

That place looks nice, d63 - "fully-licensed bar + evening meal menu" - prices seem very reasonable, too.

Sounds fun - put me down as a probably.

(If you want hotels checking out, I know someone who lives in IOM, so can probably get some recommendations.)

Ok, just asked the fun adjuster and she told me to start saving. So that's a preliminary yes from me.

Beamo has also said he'd be up for it. I've asked him to ask his mates too.

Is this date at the same time as TT or other races? Or just a general date?

Just a general date.

If there was any racing on it would make the time we have for fun very limited. TBH it doesn't need to b a race date to gt the feel and atmosphere of what the Isle is about with regards bikes.

Honestly - I'd prefer it not to be a race date. It'll be cheaper then (I'm guessing) and as you say - more time to ourselves.
