I had a great time at Mallory. Bike was good. I lost some break fluid due to overheating and me putting too much in last night but apart from that no issues

It's the first time I've done a session and come back sweating. I'm very tired and achy. I'll have a bath and then post my report later.

Fox7 got some good footage in one session of us toying with the traffic. Sadly the bugger is still faster than I am and kept disappearing. That said I did feel very confident on the CBR. A tweak of the suspension and a better brake set up is all it needs.

Aaaaargh!! - This is making me 'antsie' - my 1st trackday is this Saturday up at Willow .....I like the colour scheme on your bike, kwackster - not seen that one on CBRs over here!

Just in the process of downloading video from today - there's some cracking shots of you in session 4 just before lunch.

....I certainly hope so - if things go according to plan I may end up going track-only...contingent on next Sat. I hope to be able to squeeze in a few more trackdays this year, and, based upon that I'll decide on how I wanna proceed next year.

Just watched the vid on facebook. Can't decide whether the camera is wonky or your riding an outfit. Either way I've never seen anyone come out of the devils elbow vertical!

No I didn't mean slow, the camera is on the piss. When he goes down the straight it's still at about 30 degrees. So when he does a right hander he looks like Rossi and the left handers look like he's riding an outfit

Yep, on the video of first couple of sessions, the camera was inside the screen and had the angle wrong, also doesn't help that it was pointing more to the right than centre - some of the later stuff after I moved it is better. Need a better mount TBH!

Tell you what Richard, on that lap from session 4, if the time counter on the camcorder is right, it reckons that I was lapping about 102.8 Nerd

Just need to extract that bit (Been a bit distracted by back to School prep today) - there is some good footage of you following, then someone gets in the way!

If not tonight, I'll get it uploaded tomorrow eve and will also get the DVD of your "best bits" sorted at the weekend.

the photos are up but they are shit. Spudda took better snaps.

The guy at Mallory has taken photos at the 3 slowest sections of the track. He also tookt hem during the warm up laps at the start of the morning and evening section.

There's no thought involved. He simply placed himself where the bikes were at their slowest, pointed the camera and fired. He clearly hasn't got a clue what his customers want - action shots. Not blokes sitting their bikes up after the apex or inbetween corners.

What bike is Fox7 on? He gets some good speed on the straights leaving the other bikes behind.
