i quite fancy a day out and watch a bit of live racing,but getting saturdays off is pretty damn hard for me .....but not impossible so i,ll let you know closer to the date :o

Does your race still start at 2.30pm Martin? I'm hoping to be there all being well. I'll take a few piccies again if i can though i know Silverstone is not the best for photos on track.

Yes tickets are on the door. I don't think they are cheaper in advance.

It was a good day at least up until i left.

Very warm, track was packed with riders and i got some photos to post up later.

Good to meet up everyone again. It's been a while since i saw some faces.

Off for something to eat and a nice cup of tea.

Just been looking throught the pics. How did you get the little hand logo on each photo? that's cool.

What is the hand print stuck onto? I cant tell. It looks like a tyre.

Good photos. I like the crash one but I doubt the rider did. She seemed a bit upset afterwards.

I liked the pic a moment before the crash too. I was thinking the bike looked like it was grinding a lot.

The rider managed to lever the rear tyre off the ground by turning in too quickly by the looks of it.

Just shows how sometimes the best photos are pure luck. I was just taking a photo then because there were loads of bikes coming into th bend together...and someone obliged by binning it! Covered Laugh

Hope he/she was OK. They were led away to the ambulance.

I used that link first, but it only put up a really small thumb nail picture (even when I clicked on it) so i tried linking directly to the pic. Ahwell.

I couldn't tell where the logo was.

I was gutted not to be able to make it.

I'd love to do sommet like that myself - but unfortunantly I never won the lottery this week (the only way I could see me being able to afford it)

I think that next spring, i may go and get my ACU licence or whatever it is.

No immediate plans to race but even if it was only a one off, i'd like to have a go.
