7th Place: A 49-year-old San Francisco stockbroker, who "totally zoned when he ran", accidentally, jogged off a 100-foot high cliff on his daily run.

6th Place: While at the beach, Daniel Jones, 21, dug an 8 foot hole for protection from the wind and had been sitting in a beach chair at the bottom, when it collapsed, burying him beneath 5 feet of sand. People on the beach used their hands and shovels trying to get him out but could not reach him. It took rescue workers using heavy equipment almost an hour to free him. Jones was pronounced dead at a hospital.

5th Place: Santiago Alvarado, 24, was killed as he fell through the ceiling of a bicycle shop he was robbing. Death was caused when the long flash light he had placed in his mouth to keep his hands free, rammed into the base of his skull as he hit the floor.

4th Place: Sylvester Briddell, Jr., 26, was killed as he won a bet with friends who said he would not put a revolver loaded with four bullets into his mouth and pull the trigger.

3rd Place: After walking around a marked police patrol car parked at the front door, a man walked into Florida 's H&J Leather &Firearms intent on robbing the store. The shop was full of customers and a uniformed officer was standing at the counter.. Upon seeing the officer, the would-be robber announced a hold-up and fired a few wild shots from a target pistol. The officer and a clerk promptly returned fire and several customers also drew their guns and fired. The robber was pronounced dead at the scene by Paramedics. Crime scene investigators located 47 expended cartridge cases in the shop. The subsequent autopsy revealed 23 gunshot wounds. Ballistics identified rounds from 7 different weapons. No one else was hurt.

HONORABLE MENTION: Paul Stiller, 47, and his wife Bonnie were bored just driving around at 2 a.m. So they lit a stick of dynamite to toss out the window to see what would happen. Apparently they failed to notice the window was closed!

RUNNER UP: Kerry Bingham had been drinking with several friends when one of them said they knew a person who had bungee-jumped from a local bridge in the middle of traffic. The conversation grew more heated and at least 10 men trooped along the walkway of the bridge at 4:30 a.m. Upon arrival at the midpoint of the bridge they discovered that no one had brought a bungee rope. Bingham, who had continued drinking, volunteered and pointed out that a coil of lineman's cable lay nearby. They secured one end around Bingham's leg and then tied the other (!) to the bridge. His fall lasted 40 feet before the cable tightened and tore his foot off at the ankle. He miraculously survived his fall into the icy water and was rescued by two nearby fishermen. Bingham's foot was never located.

AND THE WINNER IS...
Zookeeper Friedrich Riesfeldt ( Paderborn , Germany ) fed his constipated elephant 22 doses of animal laxative and more than a bushel of berries, figs and prunes before the plugged-up pachyderm finally got relief. Investigators say ill-fated Friedrich, 46, was attempting to give the ailing elephant an olive oil enema when the relieved beast unloaded. The sheer force of the elephant's unexpected defecation knocked Mr. Riesfeldt to the ground where he struck his head on a rock as the elephant continued to evacuate 200 pounds of dung on top of him. Going to the bike meet, it pulled no problem and was golden

On the way back it was fine but I had to brake sharp for a car in front of me who decided to turn without indicating. As I pulled away in 1st, changed to 2nd their was no pull? It was as if I'd put into 5th at 10mph. It picked up after that but I did notice within the 5 mile run home a couple of occassions, where their was a noticable drag?

Pipercross Filter and Iridium NGK Plugs fitted last year, done about 1000miles

Dirty fuel ??? Always use the Super Unleaded and never let it run down, I generally refill when the light comes on

I, for one.. never turn down a good piss up with mates, and just basically never turn down the opportunity to get away for the night.. so let`s use his 40th as an excuse to get out on the lash, and use him like the biatch he is......

I have been toying with the idea of treating myself! But as I have a sat nav which gets used for car jorneys, and also have sat nav built into my phone, it seems a bit pointless buying a 3rd unit, for use only on my bike.

So other options are tank bag to house my current sat nav in, or one of these [cgi.ebay.co.uk]

I think i prefer the one on ebay. Not sure I fancy a chunky old tank bag in my way, and this looks like it will sit on the handlebars out of the way but highly visible. Anyone used something like this before?

Our garden is on several levels and uphill from the house with a reasonably sized concrete patio area. The hutch will sit on the concrete and the first level of garden is being given over to fresh turf and being (eventually) enclosed with a divided run for the rabbits. I thought it would be a nice idea for them to be able to go in and out as they please, and I had the ideal solution taking up space.















So, it's taking shape nicely. I've even put drainage channels in the floor. It's insulated against the worst of the northern weather, has a conservatory style roof and they have their own rear doors direct into their gardens. Off to B&Q shortly to pick up some more timber and some hardboard to line the insides.

dunno if any of you lads remember me going on about finding a racing green daytona 675 and so on....?

well anyway, we got to talking about best schemes for the 675 and i mantioned a nice one i saw at a bik emeet. Saw him again at the weekend at devils bridge and got talking to him about it. Turns out it was one of only 2 that jack lilley made and was covered in all sorts of carbon bits and bobs etc. I took a pic myself but it never turned out so well, so i rooted around and found this one of it . Looks better in the flesh though. I was quite taken with it, so much as to say forgetting all about benelli now and seriously considering one.




the main focus of the paint was pretty simple, 2 gold stripes running along the spine of the bike. looked the biz.

My question is this: What is a good, humourous, snappy, to the point nickname/name for myself as a designer OR a good, humourous, snappy, to the point so on and so forth nickname for my project as a whole? For example I saw a dude called Chris Spooner and his project name is called SpoonGraphics. My girlfriends dads companies are called MilkyTea and Fudge. Any ideas would be great. Half serious ones would be preferable but I know for a fact you lot will ignore that last bit (finger)
